CE Marking of structural steelwork became law in July 2014, N&C Engineering Services ltd have had their systems reviewed and audited and achieved the status and we are therefore able to offer fully compliant CE marked structural steelwork.
If steelwork is installed that is NOT CE marked then you could be forced to remove the structure or you may be refused insurance on the structure.
You would most likely be surprised as to what would compromise as a steel structure, we have complied a short list but it is not exhaustive
• Staircases
• Mezzanine flooring
• Steel framed buildings
• Handrails and balustrades
• Staircases
• Walkways
• Platforms
• Lifting beams
• Cranes
• Any steelwork that has a load imposed on it
We can advise you on your CE requirements.
BM Trada have audited our quality management systems and have deemed us CE compliant and therefore we are able to CE mark our structural steelwork.

CE marking is an essential process for the client to ensure they are getting something that is fit for purpose. CE mark is a mark of confidence that a protocol is followed and adhered too and that the end product will be high quality product. There are producers offering a design and fabrication service without the CE mark however there is no telling what quality standard these companies work too. It is also illegal for these companies to produce structural steelwork
